Welcome to Harvest Hills Dairy Goat Farm!



We are located just outside of Wooster, Ohio. My goat herd consists of "about" 20 goats except when the babies are here.

We have fun with our goats, and love each one. In 1999 we got our first goats for 4-H projects! It did not take long from that time for us to have a "few" more.

Goats are a wonderful animal. If you are looking for an animal for a 4-H project, you want to raise a profitable production animal or have a couple of pets, once again, dairy goats are a good choice.

We specialize in Saanens and (a few) Toggenbergs which are a perfect breed for whatever your dream is. Some of their qualities include:

  • Good milk production.
  • Good disposition. They interact well with each other as well as humans.
  • Hardy and easy to care for.
  • Plus, we raise our babies on bottles (and spoil them) so that they love humans and are easy to work with.

There are a lot of options out there and we understand it can feel overwhelming. There are also many possible mistakes that can made in making your dream a reality.

We’ll help you:

  • Select the right animals.
  • Learn how to take care of them.
  • Set you up for success!

Our goats are registered and will come to you healthy and friendly. You can also count on us to be available to answer any questions you will have.

Thanks to everyone who got babies in 2025! If you want to reserve your babies for next year, 2026, refer to our "Breeding Chart" to see our plans when breeding season starts. This will be updated as I have information. If you have questions on reserving a kid, refer to "Kids for Sale" for more information. Of course, reserving your goats early is a very good idea as they get new homes quickly! Breeding has just started so I am planning to have babies late March and early April. Again, contact us and refer to the breeding chart. **We only have a couple of Toggenburgs right now so there will not be any Toggenburg babies available.**

Chore Time!

This is when you can experience chores! You will be able to help give some hay, meet the goats and try your hand at milking if you want to. Ask questions and see how are set up works.

Meet the goats and spend some time with them. Some are very friendly and others will watch closely! Take a walk in the pasture, ask questions, learn about them and how we do things.

This is me! The goats are mine, but thankfully I have the help of the others. There are also some children/teenagers who come to the farm during the summer and help out so that they can take a goat for a 4-H project. I appreciate everyone!

Rommel

Guard Dog/Overseer

Rommel is our only dog now. He loves the extra attention and he has friends over regularly so he is not lonely. Plus he loves the other animals and takes very good care of them. Once he had all of the goats herded into a corner of the pen! He knows what to do, but unfortunately I don't! Someday I may learn how to work with him and develop his talent.

Farm Assistant

Danelle has been making most of the products in our skin care line for a while. When I mentioned that I would be needing help with the farm, she quickly said she was interested! She is great with the animals and they love her! Now she does both and she is the reason I can take time away when needed!

Steve

Maintenance

Steve is my husband and thankfully he is very handy with building and fixing things. He built the pen, made gates and does lots of improvements in the barn for me. Working with the animals is not his preference, this is a rare picture, but he enjoys cooking, so he takes care of us while I do the chores.
